The webbing we use is made from polypropylene and is strong as well as being easy to keep clean. Colours are produced at the manufacturing stage and not dyed therefore the original shade will not fade or run during washing. We recommend a short machine wash at low temperature (30 degrees centigrade).
In order to maintain a clean and bright appearance we recommend that the nickel-plated items be treated once a month with a water repellent (WD40 or equivalent). This treatment will not rot the web or the stitching.
We do not recommend that the reins be knotted, as this can lead to damage and reduce the life of the rubber grip.
